About - Rajiv Gandhi Campus Library

The Rajiv Gandhi Campus Library operates in the main building of the campus having built up area of 2700 square feet, it was established in 1992 when the campus came into existence. The campus library has rich collection of 22765 Volumes of textbooks and reference books on Vedic Literature, Upanishad, Purana, Vyakarna, Jyotisha, Vastu, Ayurveda, Sanskrit literature and Indian Philosophies as Nyaya Memamsa, Yoga, Advaita Vedanta, Jain and Baudh. In addition of the above it has a very good collection of books on Education, Computer technology, Hindi, Kannada and English Literature, rare manuscripts etc. are also available for the user community. The campus library followed an open access system. The campus library remains open on all working days from 8:00AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM The primary mission of the library is to support the educational and research programs in the campus by maximizing access to information to fulfil the objectives of the university. The library aims to develop a vast collection of documents useful for faculty, student and research scholars.
