About - Mahamahopadhyay Pandit Madhusudan Ojha Central Library

This campus library is a recognized research Centre exclusively devoted to research work on various disciplines of sanskrit literature. It invites scholars and researchers interested in Sanskrit and Indian culture from all walks of life to make use of its library subject to its capacity. The library was established in the year 1943 and known as Ganganath Jha Research Institute Library but when this campus was taken over by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan on 1st April 1971 renamed as Ganganath Jha Kendriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth Library. The library has a collection of over 60420 publications which include books, bound volumes of journals, rare books, reference books and theses. The library has acquired 34 periodicals through exchange free of cost.
